In this project, I have tried to utilize the “parameter mapping” functionality of MaxMSP using an Android app called “Touch OSC.” I have made three Max patches, each for a different purpose, and have tried to control the various parameters of those patches wirelessly through an Android phone via the Touch OSC app.
Those parameters can easily be controlled with a mouse also, but having all the controls in one place and being able to change them simultaneously, widens the possibilities of the kind of sounds those patches can create.

In this Max patch, I have tried to make a Music Generator Patch where it works on the C-Major scale using the concept of Diatonic Harmony (Karen Ramirez, 2008). I have used C Major scale because it’s the simplest scale as it does not have any sharp or flat notes.
